1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and, where applicable, your engagement of JBL for transport, fleet rental, and related site support services. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Important: Commercial terms (pricing, scope, payment terms, service schedules, and service-specific conditions) are finalised in the applicable quotation, LPO/PO, and/or signed agreement. In case of conflict, the signed contract/quotation terms will prevail.

2. Quotations and Validity

  • Quotations are issued based on the information provided at the time of request and are subject to fleet availability, site requirements, and operational feasibility.
  • Unless stated otherwise, quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
  • Any change in scope (locations, schedules, access requirements, compliance requirements, duration, standby/idle time) may require a revised quotation.

3. Mobilisation Requirements (Documentation)

Mobilisation may be contingent upon completion of required onboarding documents and confirmations, which may include (as applicable):

  • Trade license / commercial license, TRN certificate
  • Authorized signatory documentation
  • Bank details
  • LPO/PO and any client onboarding requirements

Delays in document submission may delay mobilisation. JBL is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete onboarding requirements or site readiness constraints beyond our control.

4. Service Delivery Standards and Substitution

JBL operates structured maintenance and readiness controls to support service reliability. In the event of planned maintenance, service, or breakdown, JBL may provide a replacement vehicle of similar or lower category, subject to availability and operational constraints.

5. Fuel Responsibility (Service-Specific)

Fuel responsibility varies by service type and will be confirmed in the quotation/contract. Where applicable:

  • Clients may be required to provide fuel/diesel for certain deployments or regions.
  • For rentals, the vehicle may need to be returned with the same fuel level as at commencement, as specified in the agreement.

6. Working Hours, Utilisation, and Timesheets

Where services are billed on a time/utilisation basis:

  • Standard working hours, minimum daily/monthly hours, standby/idle policies, overtime, weekend/holiday rules, and Ramadan arrangements will be defined in the quotation/contract.
  • Timesheets (where applicable) must be submitted and/or verified within the timeframe stated in the agreement (commonly within 7 days of month-end) to support timely invoicing and reconciliation.

7. Toll Charges, Traffic Fines, and Operational Charges

  • Toll charges (e.g., Salik) and traffic fines may be charged based on actual usage and occurrences, as per the agreement.
  • Where JBL pays fines on a client’s behalf (if authorized), an administration/service fee may apply as set out in the agreement.
  • Responsibility allocation for fines may vary depending on whether vehicles are operated by JBL drivers or client personnel, and will be governed by the contract.

8. Client Responsibilities and Site Conditions

Clients are responsible for providing accurate job details and ensuring operational feasibility, including:

  • Clear instructions for locations, timings, site access, and loading/unloading requirements.
  • Site readiness and safe working conditions.
  • Compliance with site rules, inductions, permits, and regulated access requirements where applicable.
  • Proper and lawful use of vehicles/equipment.

JBL reserves the right to pause or refuse service where conditions are unsafe, unlawful, or materially inconsistent with the agreed scope.

9. Payment Terms and Invoicing

  • Payment terms are as per the quotation/LPO/contract.
  • VAT is applied in accordance with UAE law, unless stated otherwise in writing.

  • Off-hire typically requires written notice (often 7 days).
  • Early off-hire or termination prior to contract expiry may result in charges or penalties as specified in the contract.
  • Minimum billing periods may apply once mobilisation has occurred.

12. Vehicle/Equipment Care, Misuse, and Restrictions
